Any attorney-client relationship formed through the Platform is solely between you and the attorney you engage. CITE8, Inc. makes no representations, warranties, or guarantees regarding the quality, accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any attorney's services.
You should always consult a licensed attorney in your jurisdiction for advice specific to your legal situation. Do not rely on documents generated by this Platform as a substitute for professional legal counsel.
By creating an account, clicking "I Agree," or otherwise accessing or using the Platform, you represent that: (a) you are at least 18 years of age; (b) you have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts; (c) you are not barred from receiving services under the laws of any applicable jurisdiction; and (d) you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after any modification constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically.

CITE8, Inc. reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account, at our sole discretion, for any violation of these Terms or for any other reason we deem appropriate, without prior notice and without liability to you.
Certain features of the Platform, including attorney consultations and document review sessions, require payment. By submitting payment, you authorize CITE8, Inc. and its payment processor (Stripe) to charge your payment method for the applicable fees.

Once an attorney has been matched and accepted a request, the session fee is earned and non-refundable regardless of whether the session is completed, terminated early, or results in an outcome you consider unsatisfactory. We are not responsible for the quality or outcome of any attorney's services.
CITE8, Inc. is not liable for any billing errors by Stripe or your financial institution. Disputes regarding charges must be directed to billing@cite8.ai within 30 days of the charge.
The Platform, including all software, design, text, graphics, logos, and underlying technology, is owned by or licensed to CITE8, Inc. and is protected by copyright, trademark, patent, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works of the Platform without our prior written consent.
You retain ownership of content you submit to the Platform. By submitting content, you grant CITE8, Inc. a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, process, and display your content solely to provide and improve the Platform. You represent that you have all rights necessary to grant this license.
No oral or written information or advice given by CITE8, Inc. or its representatives shall create any warranty. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so the above exclusion may not apply to you in its entirety.
The foregoing limitation of liability shall apply even if CITE8, Inc. has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Some jurisdictions do not allow the limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages, so the above limitation may not apply to you in full.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless CITE8, Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, agents, licensors, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to: (a) your use of the Platform; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any applicable law or regulation; (d) any content you submit to the Platform; (e) any dispute between you and an attorney or any third party; or (f) any representation you made to an attorney or third party based on Platform content.
Except for claims that qualify for small claims court, you and CITE8, Inc. agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association ("AAA") under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, rather than in court.
Class Action Waiver:
The arbitrator may award any relief that a court could award, but only in favor of the individual party and only to the extent necessary to provide relief warranted by that party's individual claim. This arbitration provision does not prevent you from reporting concerns to federal, state, or local agencies.
To initiate arbitration, send written notice to legal@cite8.ai. The parties shall attempt to resolve the dispute informally for 30 days before initiating formal arbitration proceedings.
These Terms and any disputes arising hereunder shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. For any claims not subject to arbitration, you consent to personal jurisdiction and venue in the state and federal courts located in Georgia.
The Platform integrates with third-party services including Stripe (payment processing), Microsoft Azure (cloud infrastructure and AI), and others. Your use of these third-party services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. CITE8, Inc. is not responsible for the content, accuracy, availability, or practices of any third-party service. Links to external websites do not constitute endorsement by CITE8, Inc.
By providing your cell phone number, you consent to receive transactional SMS messages from CITE8, Inc., including verification codes, session notifications, and account alerts. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out by replying STOP to any message or by updating your account settings. Opting out of transactional messages may impair your ability to use certain Platform features. We do not send marketing SMS without your explicit opt-in.
CITE8, Inc. may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, for any reason or no reason, with or without notice, and without liability to you. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. Sections 1, 4, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12 of these Terms shall survive termination.
